Important Information for Patients using Flonase
Flonase is for the short term (3-6 months) prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis including hayfever. Flonase should not be used continuously for more than 6 months without consulting your regular physician.
To ensure maximum benefit from Flonase, regular usage is essential. Relief may not be obtained until after 3 to 4 days of treatment.
Stop using Flonase and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives).
Consult your regular physician if you are suffering from, or develop an infection.
